(10/17/2025-10/19/2025) This week on in the German Bundesliga there are a number of exciting matches, the most outstanding being the 'Der Klassiker' where Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich will occur. I know it sounds contradictory to like two rival teams, but Bayern Munich is my favorite, and Borussia Dortmund is arguably my second favorite overall and for sure my second favorite in the Bundesliga. I think Bayern has this one locked down, Dortmund seem a little weaker this season than previous seasons. Last year was the first year Harry Kane won a title, and this year he has already scored 11 goals! | For 'Der Klassiker' I am predicting a 3-1 victory for Bayern Munich.

Union Berlin vs Borussia M'gladbach

First up is Friday's fixture between Borussia M'gladbash and Union Berlin. I predict this match will be close, but will end up going the way of Union Berlin. I think M'gladbach arguably is a better team, but with Tim Klinedest out I don't think they have many goal scoring opportunities. This season, the entire M'gladbach Foals have only scored 5 times leaving them with a -7 Goal Difference (Compare this to the +22 Goal Difference of my beloved Bayern Munich). That being said, Union Berlin has only scored 8 Goals this season, so it's not that big of a difference.

Prediction: 2-0 for Union Berlin Bets Placed:

Koln vs Augsburg

Words cannot describe how happy I am for Hennes the goat (and Koln) to be back in the Bundesliga. Their relegation made me sad, but I am happy it didn't last long. I predict Hennes leads Koln to a 3-1 win over Augsburg. That being said I am more impressed with Augsburg this year as opposed to the previous two. But these two teams sit on opposit ends of the middle table. Koln ranked 6th and Augsburg ranked 14th. Although their Goal Difference only separtes them by 4. Koln has a +2 where Augsburg has a -2. I think both teams can score, and Koln can pull a victory. Prediction: 3-1 Koln

Heidenheim vs Werder Bremen

On Saturday Werder Bremen will take on Heidenheim. Heidenheim is bottom of the table and they have only scored 4 goals while they have conceded 11. I predict a 2-nill victory for Werder Bremen. While I don't think it will be too big of a blowout because Bremen has only managed to score 9 goals this season. Prediction: 0-2 Bremen

Mainz 05 vs Leverkusen

This Saturday Morning (for Me and anyone on the East-Coast of the USA) fixture may be a lot closer than what one would expect. I think with the lack of Patrick Schick, and the number of high-valued players lost to the premier league Leverkusen will lack any real goal scoring ability. I do think Alejando Grimaldo and Malik Tillman may be able to set up Christian Kofane, but will be perform as well as Patrick Schick would? Regardless Mainz is in very bad form to start this season off. They currently sit at 16th with a -5 Goal Difference. While Leverkusen may have a hard time with the execution, I think they are beating a dead horse. Prediction: 0-2 Victory for Leverkusen

Leipzig vs Hamburger SV

Leipzig is the clear favorite coming into this game, although I think many may be surprised to be reminded that in the last six meetings of these two teams, Hamburger has both one and drawn in matches against Leipzig, so anything is possible!! Just kidding, it will be a blowout. Prediction: 3-o Leipzig

Wolfsburg vs Stuttgart

Stuttgart is ranked 4th in the Bundesliga but I have no idea how. They have not been performing the way you would expect a top of the table team to. That being said Wolfsburg is on a three match losing streak. It has been a while since they have one, and I think this may be their opportunity to grab a victory. The main issue facing Woflsburg is that they have Patrick Wimmer out, even though he is not the number one Wolfsburg goal scorer, he really ties the team together and sets up his teammates for success. I think Mohamed Amoura Will be able to score a goal bringing Wolfsburg a 1-0 victory. Prediction: 1-0 Wolfsburg

Freiburg vs Frankfort

Freiburg stands at 8th in the table where Frankfort stands one ahead of them at 7th. Both teams are very close to an even goal difference with Frankfort being a head with +1. While the goal differences are similar, Freiburg has only conceded 9 goals total, where Frankfort conceded 16. I think that paints a picture that Frankfort may win but I don't think they will come out unscathed. I predict both teams will score, and Frankfort will be the winner. Also keep an eye out for a goal from Can Uzun. Prediction: 1-2 Frankfort

St. Pauli vs Hoffenheim

Both St. Pauli and Hoffenheim are fighting to stay away from relegation. In their last six meetings, there have been two wins, two draws, and two losses for each side! I think on paper, these teams are as even as possible. I am predicting another draw, and while I think there will be 4 goals total. I wouldn't be surprised if it is fewer, the St. Pauli goalie is their highest rated play on Sofascore.
