Judo 1

While my favorite Martial Art is probably wrestling or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I have found that Judo is often the most impressive grappling art. I love the explosiveness and the focus on throws. If I am to be honest, I think that it was a mistake to remove leg attacks, but I understand why it happened. One of my favorite things about Judo is that it has the Kodokan and organizes both its techniques and history in a very cool easy to follow way. I find Jiu-Jitsu different coaches have different frameworks or systems and there is still a lot of ambiguity as to what the best game plan is. I find the Kodokan to be almost like an academic leader for Judo. Check out this cool intro video from the Kodokan:
